Here you will find some answers for some of the more common appliance problems.
Refrigerator Service FAQ:
Q. My refrigerator have a lot of ice forming in the back and not keeping temperature.
A. Try disconnecting your refrigerator and defrost the ice. Then, Clean the condenser. Plug your refrigerator back only after all ice is gone and back of refrigerator is dry and clean.
Q. My refrigerator just isn’t cooling. I can hear like click sounds every few minutes.
A. This is probably a problem with the compressor or the fan motor that holding your refrigerator from getting cold.
Q. My refrigerator making loud noises all of the sudden!
A. this is probably you fan need to be adjusted or replaced.
Oven Service FAQ:
Q. My oven won’t keep temperature. It will heat up but when i try to adjust the temperature down it won’t stop and will cool down almost completely.
A. I will recommend to check the thermostat. It seems that a bad thermostat can cause such a problem. It simply won’t send a signal to the oven that it reached the requested temperature.
Q. My stove works but my oven won’t start.
A. Try checking the igniter. A bad igniter can be causing this problem. There are separate igniters for the stove and the oven.
Washer Service FAQ:
Q. My washer is making a really loud noise!
A. This can be caused by various reasons, might be the bearings or the washer drum.
Q. My washer won’t drain out water.
A. This can be caused by a bad drain pump that causing the washer not to drain the water. It can be caused also by a bad control board that does not start the drain pump.
Dryer Service FAQ:
Q. My dryer won’t heat. It takes forever to dry clothes if ever.
A. This can be caused by several reasons.
Try cleaning the vent as it might stop your dryer from heating up.
Check the heating element and the thermostat as they might stop th dryer from heating up.
Q. My dryer is making loud noises when working.
A. Try to check the bearing and the drum as they can cause that problem. Be advised that it is not recommended to use the dryer before repairing this, since it can damage your dryer further.
Dishwasher Service FAQ:
Q. My dishwasher not draining the water. After doing the dishes it stays with a small puddle at the bottom.
A. This can be caused by a bad drain pump or a bad control board that causing the dishwasher not to drain the water.
Q. My dishwasher does not fill with water.
A. Check the inlet water valve. a bad inlet valve can stop the dishwasher from filling in with water.
Air Conditioner Service FAQ:
Q. My window air conditioner stopped blowing out cold air. Do i need freon?
A. In general small window air conditioners does not typically need any freon fill-ups. It might be the fan that went bad.
Q. My window air conditioner is not cooling and makes low, bass sounds.
A. This sounds may indicate a bad compressor which is a costly part to replace.
